What if we are too nervous to speak in front of our friends and family?
My role is one of guidance and support. If you’d prefer to say very little, that is ok. If you'd like me to do most of the sharing of stories, I can do that.
What if our families have different expectations about the ceremony?
We sit down and discuss how to navigate what are the important elements that need to be shared in the stories. While being sensitive to families, you are my clients and these are your stories.
What is your price range?
Let's start with a no-obligation meeting (coffee on me), or a chat on Zoom or phone call (whichever you feel most comfortable with), to talk about what your needs are. We can discuss pricing then.
How long are the ceremonies?
This will depend on which elements (i.e. stories, readings, rituals) you wish to include. This will become clearer when we meet to discuss the ceremony.
As a rough guide, ceremonies range from 20-60 minutes, unless you require more.
What time will you arrive before the ceremony?
I'll arrive at least 30-60 minutes beforehand.
How do you ensure the ceremonies are unique and personalized?
The service I offer is based on being unique and personalized. I'll take the time to meet with you, either in person or on zoom, where we can discuss all your needs and preferences concerning the ceremony.
How many ceremonies do you perform in a day?
One!
As a Celebrant, what aren't you responsible for?
My responsibility is the ceremony -explaining the process to you, crafting the script, and conducting the ceremony. To assure this, I may collaborate with other professionals, as appropriate.
