My role, as your Celebrant, is to take the time to truly understand the significance of your milestone, whether it is a vow renewal, naming ceremony, welcoming of a new family member, or another meaningful life moment. Through relaxed and unhurried conversations, I learn your story, your values, and what you hope to celebrate and express.
In close collaboration with you, I'll carefully craft a personalized ceremony that may include music, readings, meaningful words, and symbolic rituals that reflect the essence of the occasion and those being honoured.
Every element of the ceremony is shared with you for review, ensuring it feels authentic, personal, and completely aligned with your vision.
With care, warmth, and attention to detail, I'll then officiate the ceremony at a location of your choice - whether that is your home, a garden, a beach, a venue, or another meaningful setting.
What I Offer
I offer personalized milestone ceremonies that honour life’s meaningful moments, including vow renewals, naming ceremonies, welcoming new family members, and other significant transitions worth celebrating. Each ceremony is thoughtfully created in collaboration with you, reflecting your story, values, and the significance of the moment you are marking.
Together, we will create something heartfelt, authentic, and truly memorable.
With a background in storytelling, I gently weave together words, meaning, and sentiment to create ceremonies that feel warm, personal, and deeply reflective of the occasion.
Based in beautiful Brentwood Bay, I'm available to travel throughout Victoria and the Southern Gulf Islands, north to Comox and Courtenay, and west to Tofino and Ucluelet.
The Process
The first step is ensuring we’re the right fit for one another. I offer a complimentary, no-obligation meeting - over coffee (my treat), or via Zoom or phone - whichever feels most comfortable for you. This is a relaxed and welcoming conversation where you’re invited to share your story, your hopes for the occasion, and what this milestone means to you and your loved ones.
Following this, I’ll provide a gentle questionnaire to help guide the process and gather any additional details. Once we’ve completed a simple service agreement and arranged one of two payment options (please reach out to discuss pricing), we move into the next stage.
In close collaboration with you, I’ll craft a meaningful and joy-filled ceremony that reflects your unique journey - whether you’re welcoming a new family member, renewing vows, celebrating a naming ceremony, or marking another special milestone. You are always invited to review and shape each element so it feels authentic and just right. I’ll honour your preferences for readings, music, and personal touches, while offering guidance and creative ideas along the way.
If it would feel helpful, I’m happy to walk through the ceremony with you in advance so everyone feels comfortable, confident, and excited. On the day itself, I arrive early to connect with you and coordinate with your chosen venue or vendors, ensuring everything unfolds smoothly, warmly, and exactly as you’ve envisioned - creating a memorable and uplifting experience for all.
